Shellimark Entertainment as a company was formed in 1997, however the journey to becoming a professional DJ started in 1985. As a high schooler I had the opportunity to get involved as a DJ for the youth dances in my area. As my love for music and entertaining crowds started to grow, I soon began dreaming about having my own DJ company.

I actually formed my first DJ company while attending college at Weber State University in 1991. This soon evolved into having a sizeable client base in the school systems around the university as well as the university itself.

As the years progressed I found that I was being sought out for not only creating a party type atmosphere at the events I performed at, but also for the ability to exceed the expectations of my clients.

Taking that level of professionalism to the next level, my wife and I started Shellimark Entertainment. Our commitment was and is to find the needs, expectations, and dreams of our clients and make them not just a reality, but to make them the foundation of the event. The commitment to my clients was recognized when I was asked to be a presenter at the national Mobile Beat DJ conference held in Las Vegas.

Today that focus hasn't changed. My commitment is the total satisfaction of my clients. It's not just about the music; it's about the event as a whole. Music is a key piece to the overall success, but executing the overall vision of the client is the key to total event success. The perfect event is the one where the guests have the time of their life and the event host receives all the credit for the success of the party.
